Pre Order Shipping Update - Jan 13, 2022

Thank you so much for your support of Capsoul. As an early stage business it means the world that you’d invest in us and support the work we’re doing to build a new generation of work bags for creatives. I’m writing because there are a few updates to our production timeline affecting the shipping date of your bag. 

  1. We’re adding more color options for the utility strap and buckle that comes equipped with the bag. We received a lot of initial feedback to add more color options and increase the length of the strap to accommodate more body types. We heard you and want to honor this request in the first round of bags. Unfortunately, that means the adjustments we’re making to the utility strap are going to add about two more weeks to our production timeline. 
  2. Our bags are manufactured in partnership with an international vendor in China. In China workers celebrate Chinese New Year (also known as Lunar New Year or Spring Festival)  starting Jan 31 until the Lantern Festival takes place on February 15th. There is a public holiday from Jan 20 - Feb 6th where the entire country takes off for a time of rest and reset (the US could totally take a page out of this book). This means our bags won’t ship until after this date. 
  3. We’re expecting a large shipment of 500 bags traveling by sea. This is estimated to take between 30-45 days, depending on the state of international shipping due to the pandemic. If  you were a part of the first 100 orders we're going to expedite your bags and air freight them as soon as production runs. Reducing this time down to 7-10 business days. You’ll get your bags before anyone else but the new expected arrival date is April 2022. 

    I truly hate to push things back this far but I want to be honest and transparent with you all. The love you’ve shown for our launch does not go unnoticed! I am incredibly grateful for your understanding and support in our small business.
